The Oase range of Biotec Screenmatic filters are the most technologically advanced gravity filters on the market. Their unique sponge system is designed to hold the maximum amount of waste before needing cleaning. They feature a Screenmatic system, which is a unique electronically operated screen that automatically cycles and extracts the largest particles and debris, significantly increasing the time it takes for the sponges to become blocked. This drastically cuts down on maintanence and increases the capacity of the filter for very little energy, making it suitable for much larger ponds than normal gravity filters. Because of their high waste handling capacity, there is no better filter system we know of for messy Koi fish and large ponds up to 140,000L.

What we liked:
The Screenmatic system is completely unique and market leading. The most efficient filter available and in a class of it's own. Nothing else is capable of handling such large capacities or concentrations of fish.
Less than ideal:
Large physical size can sometimes be hard to integrate into your landscape, however smaller filters are much, much less effective for larger ponds or koi ponds.
