Tornado Algae Lift - Clears Algae and Sludge. It can be used in Fish Ponds, Water gardens, Water Features, Dams, Stock troughs, Swimming Ponds & waste water. Algae lift is safe for Fish and plants but should not be applied directly to sensitive leaves such as water lilies as leaf burn may occur. Once diluted in water, Algae lft is not harmful to wildlife or pets, and is safe for irrigation and swimming. a 500 gram pack can treat up to 12,500 litres, or 6,250 for 2 doses.
Suggested Dose Rates:
Simply spread Algae Lift over problem areas, wait a few minutes and watch it work. If treating large areas of the entire water volume then the following dose rates are recommended;
Small water bodies (fish ponds, stock troughs, water features)
- 20 to 40 grams per 1000 litres. Wait 7 days before reapplying if a second trestment is required.
- May raise pH when used in small water bodies so a starting pH of 6.8 to 7.5 is preferred.
- pH levels should naturally come down within a week but monitor and adjust if necessary.
Large Water bodies (Dams, Lagoons)
- Full Water volume treatments 6kg to 36kg per megalitre
- Surface water volume treatment 9kg to 45kg per acre
How to use/apply
- Apply early in the morning on a still calm day with no wind
- Turn off pumps or aerators the spread Algae Lift over the affected areas.
- Wait 20 minutes then use a net to skim off the dead algae and muck floating on the surface
- Turn circulation/pumps back on and let your ponds good bacteria feed on the algae and muck over the next few days

Note:
Algae Lift is not an algaecide, it works with innovative peroxygen chemistry that lifts algae and organic muck up to the surface where it can then be removed by net or left for good bacteria to feed on. What we liked:
This water treatment works in front of you, sprinkle and watch algae float to the surface, for you to either scoop it out or for it to sink and for beneficial bacteria to feed off of it. Pair with Biostim Accelerator for speedy results.
